I'm so excited about what's in store for Harry, I am sure I will be finished in a day...even if my kids have to go without supper...(just kidding - they do have their father afterall...)
I always get the book at midnight and I'm normally finished by 7-ish. Everyone says I read too fast and I get bored waiting for my friends to finish so I might read slower this time around.
Why isn't there a No, I haven't read any of the books or seen any of the movies option? I think ol' Harry's a cutie, but it seems kiddish to me (obviously it's not with such a widespread
audience) but I've just never gotten into it.
Well of course I'll want to read it fast to see what happens, but because it's the final book, I really want to try and make it last as long as possible
haute kitty, I understand where you're coming from, but you also have to remember that A LOT of the fans of the series (including myself) grew up with the books. I was like 8 when I first
started reading them. When I go back and re-read the first 2, they are extremely kiddish, but after the 3rd they are much darker and for that reason I think they appeal to so many people.

82 or 3 days...I have two jobs and a ton of other reading to do for school

11probably a couple days, depending on how things go.
12Two days. I hope less cuz I'm really afraid that I'll turn on the TV/internet/radio and they'll say the ending before I can!
13it took me exactly 23 hours and 15 minutes
14it took me about eleven hours... because i'm a dork... a very, very big dork.
15i finished the book in a little over 6 hours!!! i couldn't stop reading!!!
